CREATING A STRONG LOCAL ECONOMY
Helping you grow your business
Creating a strong local economy means providing a climate that attracts and retains jobs. The Chamber gathers and reports relevant data and information that can assist businesses in making decisions about relocation and expansion. We also host workshops and seminars aimed at providing members with the knowledge and tools to compete and grow.
PROMOTING THE COMMUNITY
Giving your brand more exposure to customers
The Chamber has always had its fingers on the pulse of the community. The level and type of community involvement has changed and grown over the years as our community has developed. Today, we offer an exciting array of promotional opportunities for our members. These include our beautiful Alpine Magazine, event sponsorship and participation, online and print advertisements, social media, and public relations.
PROVIDING NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
Building business relationships
Networking is all about providing valuable member connections and access to other business leaders. It is a low cost way to build business relationships, generate leads, and learn valuable information. Relationships are built around trust and connections. The Chamber provides high-quality, value-added opportunities for members to interact and foster profitable business relationships.
REPRESENTING THE INTERESTS OF BUSINESS WITH GOVERNMENT
Your voice in the County and State
The Chamber is a leader of the business agenda. Due to the diversity of our membership: from large companies to small, from mature to start-ups, the Chamber includes an incredibly broad membership. While there can by many competing interests among this diverse collection, we have the opportunity to channel those common interests among our members into a unified, effective voice. This voice becomes even more effective when our members and their employees get involved in the process and help shape the decisions being made by their government.
Supporting pro-business candidates and policy
One way to promote a pro-business agenda is to support and encourage pro-business candidates for office. Elected officials that understand business are key in the areas of governmental accountability and fiscal responsibility. These leaders make a difference on budget priorities, keeping the cost of doing business low; they also understand the need for consistent regulation and what is needed to grow jobs in our community.
