'Plant the Boulevard' or 'I love a Green Alpine', has been an ongoing project that the Alpine Chamber of Commerce, Back Country Land Trust and Wildlife Habitat has been working on to beautify Alpine’s Business District.  The original goal was to plant as many of the garden parkways left behind when the County installed sidewalks, with donated plants from BCLT, who received a grant from Lush Cosmetics.  Approximately 70 plantings have taken place on Alpine Boulevard between December 2018 and now through the efforts of Jon Green and very generous volunteers.  The Alpine Chamber of Commerce and BCLT has reached out to properties on Alpine Boulevard, and planted as many properties as possible. We are now coming to the end of this project. If your business is on Alpine Boulevard, and you would like a planting to take place, please contact Lori at The Alpine Chamber of Commerce, 619-445-2722, as soon as possible, so you don’t miss out on this great opportunity.  The project will be closing very soon.

The Alpine Spring and Music Festival is kicking off for the very first time on April 13, 2019 at the Alpine Community Center.  This is going to be a day of art and live music appreciation with an excellent array of vendors for your shopping pleasure.  If you would like to participate in this new event, please contact the Alpine Chamber of Commerce.  We are accepting applications for all vendors.

The next Hot Topics event is going to be on March 12, at La Caretta Mexican Restaurant. This event will be different as IT WILL NOT BE A BREAKFAST.  This next event is going to be a brunch, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and ending at 12:15 p.m.  The Alpine Chamber of Commerce has recognized that early mornings are not always optimal for business owners, so we have created a Hot Topics Brunch.  We hope to see you there.  For more details please contact the Alpine Chamber of Commerce.
