It’s going to be a hot time in Alpine on Thursday, June 7, at the Alpine Library’s 7th Annual Firehouse Cookoff!
Taste test the culinary talents of Viejas, Alpine and Sycuan firefighters starting at 6 p.m. This year the departments are creating potato dishes in a sizzling contest to get votes for best cooking.
The library staff at 1752 Alpine Blvd. has added a Junior Division for Scouts and other youth organizations. The young people are creating pretzel desserts!
