Alpine Community Planning Group

The Alpine Community Planning Group reviews land use proposals for Alpine, an unincorporated community in east San Diego County off Interstate 8.The 15-seat board makes advisory recommendations on proposals and forwards them to the county Planning and Land Use Department. Department staff and the county’s Board of Supervisors make the final decisions.

The planning group meets the fourth Thursday of every month at 6:30 p.m. at the Alpine Community Center at 1830 Alpine Blvd. Board members are elected to four-year terms. As of March 1, 2008, there was one vacancy.
