“I will represent the Alpine Chamber of Commerce and my business in a professional manner,” each Ambassador promises.

Friendly, informative and helpful, the Alpine Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors are firmly committed to their mission in helping the region. Easy to spot in their burgundy jackets, the dozen or so Chamber members who serve in this honored capacity make every event even more fun and useful.

“It is the mission of the Ambassadors to promote the role of the Alpine Chamber of Commerce in the community while generating an atmosphere of goodwill among Chamber members, the business community and in the communities the Chamber serves,” their mission statement declares.

The Ambassadors create a positive image of the Chamber by attending orientations of new members, the monthly Hot Topics Business Breakfasts and networking events.Members of the group circulate, greet and welcome new Chamber members; make introductions and invite participation wherever they go. Ribbon cuttings and grand openings take on a more festive air when the Ambassadors arrive.

Special events become more exciting and interesting as the Ambassadors spread good cheer and help provide more business opportunities to other Chamber members. In addition to agreeing to participate in the meetings of the Ambassadors, each one promises to attend a minimum of five Chamber networking events and at least four Chamber event functions.

The group started almost two years ago, with Ambassadors learning to listen and ask questions while using all the networking tools possible on behalf of Chamber members. We’re always looking for new members.
